BC-ADMs - Welcome!

BC-ADM Credential Holders

CBDCE is looking forward to working with all BC-ADM credential holders as ownership of the BC-ADM program transitions from the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES) to CBDCE in 2025*.

CBDCE is working with the same test vendor that managed the program for ADCES to keep the transition as smooth as possible for those who are currently certified and for those looking to become certified.

We'll keep updating this page with news as we move along. Please know we'll be working on a website update in 2025 to expand the information on becoming certified, renewing as a BC-ADM, and the BC-ADM program in general.  Click here to read the news release about the transition.

*ADCES will be completing the work needed for audits and certificates/wallet cards for those testing in the December 2024 window (make take through March 31, 2025 to finish) and renewing through December 2024. For those who tested in December 2024, reach out to bcadm@adces.org if questions .

Transition

Note: We appreciate your patience as we transition the program from ADCES to CBDCE in the first quarter of 2025. We will work as quickly as possible to ensure information, processes, links and documents work smoothly for those pursuing initial and renewal of the BC-ADM certification, but some changes do take time and work could not be started until January 2025. Hopefully incidents will be rare after January 2025, but it may take some time.
